3 rooms, 3 colors, crazy old molding... it all was finished and looks amazing- and at a completely reasonable price. The technicians even picked up the paint for me. These guys were nice, hard-working, and careful.

T&L TILING

We used Peter Edgington of T&L Tiling to tile our kitchen and bathrooms. Whilst he was very confident in his work when he came round and the pictures on the website look impressive, the end result is certainly not. We have been left with cracked tiles, gaps where he has not tiled up to the door way or kitchen cabinets, and large amounts of grout used rather than cutting tiles properly. He installed under tile heating for us and used his electrician who he said was a fully licensed electrician - we are yet to receive the electricians certificate, even though we were promised it. We have tried on numerous occassions to get Peter to return, but so far have had nothing. He has promised to come round, but then doesn't return calls or hangs up the phone if he hears my voice. We are now in the process of having to get someone else to come round, and pull up all the tiling he did and start again...something which is going to cost us much more than we ever thought it would. Be very careful not to be taken in by his pre-sales pitch and website....otherwise you too could end up being caught out and be left with tiling which is not safe and looks bad.

DHF Builders - Home Extensions Nottingham

DHF builders were one of the local companies I recieved quotes from when cosidering modernising my kitchen & laying new flooring. I was happily surprised with the competitive quote from DHF and equally felt comfortable discussing my requests with the builders. The work began on the agreed date and the builders ensured mimimal disruption to my families lifestyle & homelife. Completion was again on time and I was advised and informed of all decisions and progress along the way. The quality of the kitchen is excellent and the finish is to a very high standard. Each area demonstrating superb craftsmanship. The solid wood flooring completed the new kitchen and we were so impressed that we continued the wood flooring throughout the downstairs of our home. DHF were only too happy to complete this for us. Finding local reliable builders is often difficult but with DHF, i'd be happy to use them again and recommend them.
