I rather anxiously left my beloved dog Minstrel at the kennels as i was going on an inpromptu jaunt. needless to say he's spoilt rotten & wasn't keen on giving up his home comforts !! Having spoken to the kennel staff at great length the day dawned for Luger to go off on his hols. I was met by an extremely friendly kennel maid called Kate who immediately put me at ease & while the boarding dogs were definitely loud they all seemed quite happy with their lot & quietened down virtually as soon as I left.I was able to bring Minstrels own blanket, toys & treats & assured that he would be fine & to go & enjoy my holiday as he pottered into the kennel without so much as a backward glance !! When I returned it was to find Minstrel looking as fit as a fiddle & bright as a button. He'd been absolutely fine he did apparently go off his food initially but the kennel owner then served up fresh roast chicken ...he never can resist & after that normal service was ressumed.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this establishment. They are small enough so they know their clients well & more importantly their dogs.Thank - you Cottage Farm - Em
I was awfully worried when it transpired that my minature poodle, Barbara(named after Barbara Streisand, naturally), would be required to reside in kennels whilst I had a hip operation this August. A friend recommended Cottage Farm, who I got in touch with and who were very helpful and friendly. Little Babs looked a wee bit worried when all the larger dogs started barking! But when I went to collect her she seemed very settled and had even had a coat professionally groomed!(At minimal extra cost, of course). All in all, I would reccomend Cottage Farm to all you god lovers out there. My hip has made a full recovery and Babs is as happy as ever. Thanks to all at this splendid establishment!
