• Yummy Indian Cuisine

  As I have mentioned in other reviews, the area between Cheshunt and Broxbourne is packed with Indian restaurants and it is difficult to differentiate most of them, but Mangoes does stand out from the rest.Although the menu is little different from other Indian restaurants in the area, the execution is excellent, with dishes flavoured and spiced in excellent balance. The ambience is good too, with a lively atmosphere on the occasions that we have been there. One thing to note though, due to Mangoes excellent local reputation it is worth booking your table as it does get very busy.The only reason that I have not awarded 5 stars is due to a slight gripe about the service-whilst it is efficient, it is not particularly friendly...not rude by any means, but not overly welcoming either. Perhaps we just hit at busy times and there is no time for anything but cool efficiency? Still at least service is speedy!Comparable value to other local Indian restaurants, we can eat there for around £30 for two.Definitely worth trying this place out.
