• It's gone very downhill!

  Over the last 12 months and one complaint letter down it seems to have gone from bad to worse once a comfortable place to work out, attend a class or have a leisurely swim, both my partner and myself find it quite an unsettling experience. We are led to believe we are paying for a friendly service, up to date functioning equipment, fitness studios with working stereos that are clean and decent, working showers and lockers that work. However, our experience is somewhat different customer service is certainly not a priority in place of that we find the gym staff taking advantage of the equipment with their mates and treating the place like a personal disco with the music blaring so you can't even listen to your own on headphones. If you are considering joining then my advice would be to not to and pay the extra twenty quid for somewhere more decent. If you can't afford it then go to fitness for less which doesn't tie you in to a contract like LA does.
