  I'm incredibly fussy when it comes to my hair, from the cut to the colour so i was a bit apprehensive visiting a new salon. I decided to book a appointment at Pure Hair and Beauty and was impressed from the moment I made the phone call. I was greeted by Karen who was to colour my hair , a lovely girl who certainly knows her stuff! We had a detailed consultation and although I wanted to go an extreme blonde colour she persuaded my to tone this down with a few light brown hightlights as this, she said would suit me better, the root growth would be less noticeable and it would look far more natural. She was of course right, the colours she gave me were gorgeous and they enhanced my skin tone. Next on to Nick who was to cut my hair. Again a fantastic consultation, I asked him to cut my hair in a style that would actually suit me instead of what I thought would look nice. Nick told me what he would be doing every step of the way so I knew exactly what I would be getting. Chatting away to Nick felt like I had known him for years. The hair cut he gave me was fabulous as was the blow dry and hints and tips he gave me to keep my very dry hair in good condition. I looked and felt great by the time I left the Salon. The whole experience was very relaxing and comfortable, I was made to feel like an individual and not just as 'another customer' which is what I have experienced in most salons. I cannot fault the staff in Pure Health & Beauty from Karen and Nick to the younger girl who washed my hair and gave me a fabulous head massage.

• Fantastic Facial

  I visited Pure Hair and Beauty and treated myself to a facial. From the moment I stepped into the salon I was made to feel welcome. Nick greeted me at the reception area, led me to the seating area and offered me a coffee. Marie introduced herself and led me to the treatment room. Prior to my facial I was given a lovely foot soak - which was an unexpected bonus. The facial itself was lovely, very relaxing, Marie catered for my skin type perfectly and included a great neck and shoulder massage. I was given 5 star treatment and treated as an individual throughout! If I lived closer I would be there weekly, I cannot recommend Pure enough.
